Parlour SaaS — Multi-Vendor Beauty & Salon Booking Management System
An enterprise multi-tenant salon management and on-demand beauty appointment marketplace for in-salon visits and at-home doorstep services.
Traditional beauty parlours and salons lack unified digital systems to offer both in-shop appointments and doorstep home services, leading to scheduling conflicts and lost booking opportunities. Managing complex pricing structures (regular vs. offer vs. member prices), customized service add-ons, staff assignments, and location-based availability requires an all-in-one vendor portal, while multi-salon platforms need robust administrative governance to manage store approvals, location taxonomies, promotional ad campaigns, and revenue tracking.
Business Challenge & Strategic Solution
Managing dual service fulfillment (In-Salon vs. At-Home Doorstep visits), complex member pricing tiers, real-time customer-vendor communication, multi-tenant store approvals, and dynamic invoice dispatching across three independent frontends.
Built independent time slot configuration engines for in-salon appointments and home service visits to prevent scheduling overlaps.
On-demand Socket.io room instantiation per order maintaining message history, read receipts, and live notification badges.
Backend invoice rendering pipeline aggregating line items, taxes, discounts, and store credentials into an attached PDF emailed via automated notification engine.
Single Express API serving 3 Next.js portals with strict JWT role scopes (Customer, Owner, Super Admin) and tenant enterprise boundary query filtering.
We architected a single unified Express REST API and Socket.io server delivering data to three Next.js frontends (Website, Parlour Owner, Super Admin). We implemented role-based JWT authentication, data scoping by tenant enterprise boundary, dual operating hour rules (in-salon operating schedule settings vs doorstep service operating schedule settings), order-linked WebSocket channels, automated notification engine + PDF invoice rendering pipeline, and Razorpay + COD payment handling.
